Ingredients:

1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® White Cake Mix
Water, vegetable oil and egg whites called for on cake mix box
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 box (2.7 oz) Betty Crocker® Gel Food Colors
1 container (12 oz) Betty Crocker® Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
Betty Crocker® Easy Flow Decorating Icing (any colors)
Betty Crocker® Decorating Decors Stars

Instructions:

1. Heat oven to 350° F. Grease bottoms only of two 8-inch square pans with cooking spray or shortening.

2. Make cake mix as directed on box using water, oil and egg whites. Divide batter in half. Stir 2 drops blue food color into one half batter; stir 2 drops red food color into remaining half. Pour into pans. Bake as directed on box for 8-inch pans. Cool for 10 minutes. Run knife around pans to loosen cakes; remove from pans to wire rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

3. Place 1 cake layer on serving plate; spread with 1/2 cup frosting. Top with second cake layer, bottom side down. Spread frosting evenly on sides and top of cake. Decorate cake as desired to resemble baby block, using decorating icing. Sprinkle top of cake with decors. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
