Peppermint Swirl Crescent Cookies

Yields: 4 Dozen Cookies
Ingredients:
2 packages refrigerated crescent dough sheets (8 ounces each)
2 eggs lightly beaten with 2 tsp water
1 jar Betty Crocker® Peppermint Sugar Decors
1 jar Cake Mate® Decors Celebration
1 pouch Betty Crocker® White Decorating Cookie Icing
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°.
Unroll one package of the crescent dough onto a lightly floured surface. Roll the dough into a 12x6" rectangle. Position the dough so that one of the 12" sides is facing you. Brush lightly with egg wash and sprinkle the surface with Cake Mate® Peppermint Sugar. Roll the dough up tightly from the long side that faces you, pressing gently to seal the seam when the roll is complete. Wrap the roll and refrigerate while preparing the second one in the same fashion only using Cake Mate® Holiday Decors in place of the peppermint sugar. Wrap and refrigerate the second roll.
Take out the first roll and cut 24 - 1/2" slices. Lay them on parchment or foil lined cookie sheets and bake 12 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat with the second roll.
When cookies have cooled, drizzle with White Cookie Icing, if desired.
