Graduation Cap Cupcakes

Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix plus ingredients to make cake
1 bottle Cake Mate Fruit Flavor Decors
1 box red fruit leather
1 box square shaped shortbread cookies
1 pouch Betty Crocker® Chocolate Cookie Icing
Betty Crocker® mini cupcake liners
Instructions:
1 – Bake cupcakes in a mini cupcake pan following cake mix instructions. Allow cupcakes to cool.
2 – While cupcakes are baking, ice the bottom of the cookies with the Chocolate Cookie Icing. Let icing dry for at least 1 hour.
3 – While icing is drying, cut the fruit leather to make the hat’s tassels.
4 – Once cookies have dried, adhere the tassels to the hats with a dab of Cookie Icing. Stick a fruit flavor décor on top of the tassel by using a small amount of Cookie Icing.
5 – Place cupcakes, upside down onto a serving platter and then place the cookie hats on top.
