Christmas Cherry Bar

Yields: 24 Servings
Ingredients:
2 pouches Betty Crocker Vanilla Cookie Cream Icing
1¾ cups graham crumbs
½ cup (1 stick) melted butter
2 tbsp sugar
2 packages (3oz) cherry flavored gelatin dessert mix
2 cups boiling water
1 cup crushed iced
Parchment paper (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a medium bowl, toss together graham crumbs, sugar and melted butter. Press into ungreased 9” x 9” square pan or 9” spring form pan (option: line pan with parchment paper, then press graham filling into pan). Place into freezer for 15 minutes.
2.Remove pan from freezer. Evenly spread 2 pouches Betty Crocker Vanilla Cookie Cream Icing. Return to freezer.
3. In a medium size bowl add flavored gelatin and boiling water. Stir until mix is completely dissolved. Add crushed iced, stir until melted. Place bowl in refrigerator until gelatin is soft set. (about 1 hour).
4. Remove pan from freezer and pour soft set gelatin on top of icing. Return to freezer for 30 minutes. Then remove to refrigerator for 3½ hours until firmly set.
5. Slice and serve. Helpful hint: to make slicing easier, remove dessert from pan by lifting the parchment paper and placing on a flat surface.
