Christmas Tree Crescents

Yields: 16 Rolls
Ingredients:2 cans (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rounds
Leftover crescent dough scraps, optional
1 egg, well beaten
Cake Mate® Glitter Gold Cupcake Gems
1 pouch (6 oz) Betty Crocker® Creamy Vanilla Muffin Glaze
Cake Mate® Green Crystal Decors
1 tube (7 oz)
Betty Crocker® Brownie Toppers® Marshmallow Topping(fitted with star tip)
1 pouch (7 oz) Betty Crocker® Chocolate Decorating Cookie Icing
Betty Crocker® Red Decorating Cookie Icing

Instructions: 1. Heat oven to 375° F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Arrange crescent rounds in the shape of a Christmas tree. Brush egg wash between each crescent round that touches; brush tops of rounds. If you have crescent dough scraps from another project, cut with star cookie cutter. Brush with egg wash; cover with Cake Mate® Cake Gems in Glitter Gold. Attach with egg wash to top of tree.
2. Bake for 14 to 18 minutes or until golden and interior is thoroughly baked. Place on cooling rack for 5 to 10 minutes. Gently loosen from parchment paper and transfer to serving platter.
3. Brush Vanilla Muffin Glaze over tree. Immediately sprinkle with green crystal sugar. Create a garland with Marshmallow Icing. Drizzle Chocolate Icing over trunk. Make ornaments from Red Cookie Frosting; drop Fruit Flavor Decors onto red frosting as it begins to set.
